I like GNC's version of glucosamine. They make a version that has no

sodium added. I take 3,000 mg a day. I have no joint pain.

Ok, here is another question about supps... ever since I started

this BFL thing last April, my muscles and particularly my joints

have been sore. Some days sorer than others, but definitely

sore every day. I am becoming concerned about my joint pain,

as it seems to be getting a little worse over time, especially in my

hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders (but hips and knees hurt

too, so I guess that covers most of it!) My question is to those

that know anything about glucosamine/chondroitin. I haven't

been diagnosed with osteoarthritis or anything, but was warned

when I was a gymnast pounding the crap out of my bod that it

was likely to develop when I got old (... so is 34 old?!?) anyway, I

wonder if anyone has had decent results with it. I'm willing to

take it, but am hesitating to spend the $$ on it if it is a waste of

effort. Plus, I'm already taking something like 20 pills/day... (4

xanatrim, 4 vit. c, 3 vit e, 1 multi, 3 echinacea, 1 iron, 6 CLA

spread out over the day... no wonder I'm never hungry, I'm full of

pills!)

Ok, that whole thing I just typed was just to ask if anyone has had

good results with glucosamine/chondroitin for what symptoms

and what dosage...

Thanks,

Gayle in MT
