Guest guest
I have been reading posts lately from newbies and it is reminding me of my first 6 weeks. I am now in the middle of my tenth week and plan on doing this hard for about a year, one challenge after another. After that I will lift and eat right for the rest of my life. I have goals about how I want to look. Newbies- no this is not a diet, yes it can be painfully slow for most, yes it's hard, yes, your bodies and minds will adjust and finally, it WILL work, and become a part of your life if that's what you really want! Let me also say to those of you starting out, the second 6 weeks is WAY better than the first 6 weeks. The workouts are still hard, the cardio still sucks but now it's a habit. The last thing I want to do at 5 am is workout but that is no longer an option. I get up, and do it...no choice, just suck it up and do it. It is who I am now and I would feel LESS without it. I'm not perfect but I'm doing way more to take care of myself than most anyone I know and that makes me feel good about myself. No I'm not where I want to be but I'm BETTER in most every way. I am stronger, happier, more confidant...better. It will become your way of life if you want it, and most of all you will come to love it!
