Guest guest
Ann, You have every reason in the world to be discouraged. You do also have some room for encouragement too. First of all what are your meals like? Are you eating high quality foods? I did find in my first challenge food was a huge issue. Are you getting 6 in? Because not eating enough can cause a slow down in the weight loss too. Okay I weighed 210 when I was full term with my son. And I started out at 130. But hey that shouldn't be your goal. What I am saying is that you are not your sister. And even if you were exactly like her you would probably have different weights. Chill on the comparisions. You are a very beautiful lovely woman. With a very nice attitude. You are a small woman you don't have a lot to loose and it seems harder to loose small amounts. I mean in the grand scheme of things a small amount. (you know not a hundred of pounds) I know this will not make you feel better. But I and many other women are in the same boat with you. Second of all are you pushing your self with working out? I thought I was until I worked out with this police man. OUCH! He pushed my buttons. So sometimes we get a little complacent. Just trying to finish the set, not the form. It does count. Sometimes working out with a new friend or partner is helpful. Shakes things up a bit. Third you (I am going to take a huge leap here) are probably better off right now than you were 10 weeks ago. Are you stronger? Are you having to up your weights? Are your cardio sessions getting easier, are you having to do more to make the heart pump? I am guessing here but I would venture to say that you are moving in the right direction. Do you take any supplements? Some people need a little extra help. I mean like Udo's? Apple Cider Vinigar tablets,CLA. I will tell you I did up my cardio when I wasn't seeing results, and then had to back off. It gave me the jump start, but then I flatlined. There are some 'jumpstart' techniques. I can't for the life of me remember. But I am sure some here can offer many suggestions. They did when I needed help. Keep the faith my friend, > Here's the deal. > > I started BFL on July 16, 2001. I have been on the plan (working out and > eating) since then. > > Around the 20th of August, I drove with the guy I'm seeing to FL to help him > move. I didn't exercise for 6 days. I also didn't eat BFL those 6 days but
