I have moderator privleges. But I can only block people from posting. Which

I have done for Neo-Reality/Andy. He may appeal to another moderator....

Why?

I'm talking about unsubbing someone who will not willingly unsub themselves, even though everyone else wants them gone...

Gotcha. I'm not sure who the main moderator is, but I think

would know.

Just blocking him from posting to the list isn't enough. If he can read posts then he can get individual e-mail addresses. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that someone of his caliber having access to our e-mail information is not a comforting thought. I understand that you may not have the authority to do that, but I think that we should definitely have someone on here that does. I realized that the main moderator was someone I had never even seen post anything. Is that person willing to turn the list over to someone who is more active and can handle these issues before they turn into problems like it did recently?

As you can see....he has decided to unsub himself. This does not mean he is

not going to come back under a new name.....if you don't want you r email

info available I suggest you set up a secoondary email address for just BFL

or other lists. That is what I have done. It is a wise move.

I definitely recommend anyone who has issues with " him " to hide their

personal email addresses here. As " he " has already taken begun to

pester me off the list. I am beginning to belive there should be

such a thing as cyber restraining orders!

and anyone else,

If you are not sure who the moderators are, just send a message to this e-mail address: bodyforlife-owner Any e-mail sent to that e-mail address goes to all the moderators, including the list owner. I am list owner of several lists and we actually have out list moderator meetings by sending an e-mail to the list owner e-mail address so we all get the information and can discuss what should be done. If we have a problem on the list, instead of posting to the list and starting a flame war, we ask everyone to post complaints to the list owner e-mail address so all the moderators are aware of the listers concerns, we discuss it off list by sending e-mails to the list owner address so we can come to some sort of agreement, the list owner of course makes the final decision, unless we have delegated certain responsibilities, such as the task of reminding people to change the subject header when the thread changes and trimming posts so the digests are readable.

Report him to his ISP. I've done it numerous times.

Thanks, Karma. I'll tuck that away for future reference.
