Temera,

If you'd like a longer workout try adding the 8-minute tape in before or

after a tape! Also you can modify the intensity of an advanced!

Thanks ~

I have thought about the 8 minute, but last summer when i did the 8

minute, it was the longest 8 minutes of my life. I am not able to move that

fast yet!!! I am either going to add half of another tape, or walk if I can.

more flexable

What do you like most about Tae-Bo? It's intense, is motivating, I

cheaper and more music

walking/jogging, ABS of steel

What is your name?

le

How old are you?

just turned 31

Where are you from? North Dakota, born and raised. We just returned

to our home state after 10 years of living in Oregon, California,

Wisconsin, and South Dakota.

Tell us a bit about your family (spouse, kids, pets, etc.): I have

been married to Vince for 10 1/2 years. Our son Cayden is 7 and our

daughter Mckenna will be turning 5 in a few weeks - boo hoo :( So far

I'm winning three against one on the pet thing.

How long have you been doing Tae-Bo? 2 years on February 19 although

I've haven't been able to do Taebo for the last 7 months because of a

shoulder/neck injury and other health issues lately.

What tapes do you have?

This is so bad - I can't remember. Most of the Basic and Advance to 5

I think (but not all).

What are your fitness/weight loss goals?

After two years, I've given up on losing weight but I do know Tae-bo

toned my muscles really nice. I haven't lost that although they I'm

not as toned as I would be if I was doing Tae-bo. I weigh 170/175 and

in my dreams, I would like to lose 25-30 pounds.

What results have you had so far (both mental and physical)?

Tae-bo helped me through the most stressful time of my life and kept

me out of the funny farm.

What do you like most about Tae-Bo?

That I don't get bored with it.

What do you like least about Tae-Bo?

There isn't enough warm-up or cool-down and I have a hard time doing

it on my own for longer then what the tape has - plus, especially with

the Advance - it was hard to find the extra time to do the warm-up and

cool-down on my own. And now after being injuried, I wish there was

some tapes that weren't so fast and so many reps.

What other exercises/activities do you do?

I've been doing Austin's two T.V. workouts and I'm suppose to

be doing weight strengthing for my back but I haven't been very good

about it. Shame on me, I know.

What are your hobbies or interests?

I do crafts & " try " to earn a little extra with it, I love coming up

with decorating room ideas (good thing since we've owned 3 houses the

last four years), reading romance books, making cards on my computer,

and being on the computer, & I am just getting started in

scrapebooking.

What else would you like people to know about you?

I have been a stay-at-home mom for the last five years. I am in my

third month as a Pampered Chef consultant (but I am wishing I never

started and can't wait to do my last four shows so I can stop). I

really appreciate all the support I've found here - this group is full

of wonderful people. Oh, and I like to talk! LOL

Everything, but a couple of the basic tapes

>

To be fit, healthy, toned, pain free, and maintain weight (and lose

about 5-10 pounds)

>

> What results have you had so far (both mental and physical)?

More confidence physically. I amazed at how quickly I now learn

moves (I used to be so uncoordinated). I can't believe that I let

myself be on a tape, since I used to be so camera shy. I am stronger

physically than I have ever been. I have tons of energy. Taebo

encouraged me try yoga, which I love. I have met incredible new

friends and have great vacations with some of them.

>

> What do you like most about Tae-Bo?

The cardio level of the workout, the variety, the music,

>

> What do you like least about Tae-Bo?

That the new tapes are probably coming to an end

>

> What other exercises/activities do you do?

Lift weights, cardio kickboxing classes, yoga, and some cross

training (exercise machines and hiking)

> What are your hobbies or interests?

Exerise, LOL; also animals, outings with girlfriends, and reading

trashy fiction

le,

I am finding that Tae-bo is also helping keep me 'above water' these days.

In June, I lost my Doberman due to aggression, he had a brain tumor, went

out of control and bit someone (thankfully, they are ok). In October when I

started Taebo, it finally helped the nightmares subside and I started down

the path to recovery. However, with the recent dog attack in San Francisco

(I'm a few hours away in Sacramento), the nightmares have returned. The

eyes burning from the tears, the head hurting from the eyes burning

<G>...last night was the worst yet, but I know there is a light at the end

of the tunnel. My few moments of peace have been when I can get myself

absorbed in Tae-bo...and I'm sure it is the only thing keeping my sanity.
