RE;DOCTORS WHO SUCK

hi its lynn,

my primary doc -i had to get rid of him after years-he was ok up until i got a

chronic

illness-now i have a new one who is very good and not threatened by anyone who

asks

questions ect...but this really threw me>i have been going to the same

psychiatrist for

over five years even before i got sick for personal issues i wont get into

now,he is also a

specialists in medications and since i have been physically ill i have relied on

him to review

all my meds every 3 months. and he is brilliant.i also see a psycologist that

works with him

everytwo weeks to deal with living in constant pain-she is like my bestfriend

comes to the

house for tea when i am sick-we even went on vacation to th beach this past

summer-she

is a really cool person-like a sister to me.

well i am on medicare now----nnot medicaide--no insurance---just

medicare---which is

fine it covers mostly everything with some quideline rules.i am happy with it.as

it turnds

out the psych doesnt get his usual 200 dollars an hour he was getting before

-only 80 an

houthats all medicare will allow him.I go to his offic the day before the

holiday and he tells

me after 5 years...that my primary can take care of my needs i dont need to see

him

anymore...basically i was dumped....i am so hurt by this because i thought he

really cared

about my well being..all these years..i even paid out of my own poket many times

when i

had no coverage.....but when it comes right down to it it was all about

money.....or course

my psycologits didnt take this well either-the rule is if you see hr you have to

see him at

least once every 3 months....her reply was " " " oh he does this all the time to

his patients

even after 10 years " " well lets find you a new one and move on " can you

imagine?????

i am through with all of them and just cant wait to get to boston in december.

i have had it with doctors..............................lynn
