Guest guest
I know it's important to eat protein while on treatment, and I do, but I'm not crazy about meat. I was wondering if the treatment has something to do with the protein levels in the blood falling, or is that just based on how much protein you eat? My protein levels have been falling lately I've noticed from my lab results. Thanks. Penny
Guest guest
celexa is what I took while on tx and it worked GREAT! I was taking 20 mg before I started tx and then upped it to 40 mg and I never had a day of serious depression the entire time I was on tx,, so I wish you the same experience I had,, hugs, jax Subject: Re: ProteinTo: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Monday, March 2, 2009, 8:03 PM By the way, I am going to start taking Celexa for depression. Instead of Zoloft, my doctor prescribed Celexa.Penny>> I know it's important to eat protein while on treatment, and I do, but > I'm not crazy about meat. Guest guest
Are you referring to your 'albumen' levels? Mine were pretty low while on tx and still are barely in the normal range,, last one was 3.8.. if you dont like meat, what about chicken, turkey, low fat cheese, tofu, etc,, you do not have to eat just meat,, and many veggies have protein in them as well,, Subject: ProteinTo: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Monday, March 2, 2009, 8:01 PM I know it's important to eat protein while on treatment, and I do, but I'm not crazy about meat. Guest guest
do you like chicken breast or turkey breast? maybe just add an ounce of white meat and see if that helps,, or scramble the egg white with veggies,, make omelets,, thats what I used to do,, Subject: Re: ProteinTo: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Monday, March 2, 2009, 9:10 PM Neither of my doctors have said anything about it, so I guess I shouldn't worry about it. I just notice it on my weekly lab results. A different doctor I saw once told me I should eat egg whites to raise it, but I'm not crazy about eggs either. I'm picky...lol.Penny> > > > > > From: preciouspenny3 <preciouspenny3@ ...>> > Subject: [Hepatitis_C_ Central] Protein> > To: Hepatitis_C_ Central@yahoogro ups.com> > Date: Monday, March 2, 2009, 8:01 PM> > > > > > > > > > > > > > I know it's important to eat protein while on treatment, and I do, > but > > I'm not crazy about meat.
