You are wise to gradually work up to doing all of the advanced tape. Some people also find it helpful to do add the floor work from the advance tape to their basic tape for a good work out and as a stepping stone to doing the whole advanced. Guest guest
HI Luchina!! I just signed on here yesterday! ) Welcome aboard! ) Carol << Hi all! I'll probably be lurking a bit to get the feel of the place, but just wanted to introduce myself here. My name is Luchina, I'm a 26 y.o. woman living ( & loving it) in San . I started TaeBo around New Year's (hee hee, Resolutions and all that), and I'm getting to the point where I'd normally lose motivation and quit. I'm determined NOT to let that happen this time, so I'm hoping the support from a mailing list will help me keep going. I really enjoy the TaeBo tapes, I did the Instructional video for about a week, and have been doing the Basic since then. I've tried the Advanced just this week and am easing slowly into being able to do the whole tape (I'm up to about 25 minutes now). I've also joined a gym where Cardio Kickboxing classes are offered- I'll have to work up to those as well as they are quite intense. For now, I'm sticking to some toning/ab machines/low-impact cardio stuff. My goals aren't so much weight loss (although shedding about 5 or 10 wouldn't hurt) as they are general health and well-being, increased strength and stamina, toning and building muscle. I am not dieting or changing my eating habits in any major way-although I am drinking more water (the better to sweat with, my dear). Well, that's me! Looking forward to getting to know all of you. Guest guest
Luchina, Welcome to the list! If it's motivation and encouragement you're seeking, you've come to the right place! You sound like you've set some realistic goals for yourself and are well on your way to achieving them. Don't worry about quitting, Tae-Bo is VERY addictive! I look forward to hearing more from you in your health and fitness journey. Guest guest
Luchina, Welcome to the group!!!!! I went to HS in San and College i Austin. I just moved to Virginia. I'm 25 so if you went to high school in San we were there about the same time. My family lives there so maybe we can have a Taebo get together on my next visit (probably not till October). Don't take on too much it will help you stick to it. The more reasonable a workout program is the more likely you are to stick with it. Which tape set do you have??? << i all!
