Mayo is claiming I refused to come in for an appointment this month.

It was MY understanding that IF there was a problem I would come in

as things were going really well. So now they are refusing to help me

and referring me to my GI Doctor until my March appointment. Of

course I have half a brain working 80% of the time so who knows and

who gives a flying bugger.

I had my interferon reduced to 135mcg from 180mcg but they kept the

Ribavarin the same at 400mg BID. Thanks for nothing Mayo :(

I do have horrible eczema and a bit of psoriasis. The eczema is now

covering me from my neck to waist. Some places are one big red itchy

burning nightmare. I am assuming thats what it is because no one else

seems to know. So I went on the internet looked at some pictures and

there it was Eczema. Got some hydrocortisone 1% cream and packed

myself in ice and its 100% better. I have an appointment I made with

a Dermatologist 3 months ago on Monday. Thats how long it took to get

a friggin appointment.

Also on my CT Scan they did at that 3rd world hospital called

Sebastian River Medical Center showed that I have bibasilar

atelectasis. My ding bat GI said it was from treatment? This is what

I found out about it.

Pulmonary Embolism is a lethal side effect of Chemotherapy :( He is

right but why has Mayo not done anything about it. They knew on my

last exam up there.

So has anyone else had this and lived through it? The recommended

treatment is antibiotics or drainage " sigh "

,, atelectasis means that the bases of your lungs have sort of collapsed,, perhaps you are not taking in a deep enough breath,, my daughter had that when she was septic in the hosp last summer.. try to do some deep breathing to expand the lungs again, it will help!

I wish I knew what to tell you about the rest of it hon,, I would certainly see if you can get someone to help intervene on your behalf,,

keep us updated hon,

hugs,

jax
