Guest guest
You went to the doc and was diagnoised with osteo and he or she didn't do an x-ray on your neck? What's up with that? I had a flare this summer and it all started with the spin cycle! Literally! I simply leaned over onto it when it was off balance on spin and pop out went the lights. I never felt so bizarre b4. I went to the doc and he said nothing other than I must have water in my ears? Didn't bother to look either. 1 month later I ended up at the ER with unreal vertigo, finally got an x-ray and it showed intracranial calcification and soft tissue calcification of C3. He reviewed it and said it was nothing. I ended up in Wyoming when my mom passed and got a 2nd. opinion and that is whan they found the SSB+. I came back to see my non certified Neurologist to have him say the masses were nothing and didn't bother me? What? Uh, dah that is why I'm here. The CT scan showed the same and he ordered a MRI to see if I might of had a hemorrage and while they did the MRI that my insurance won't cover they didn't even bother to look at the disks, etc... I have spurs, etc... I think you should request one especially with osteo being mentioned! WOW!!!! Where do they get these guys? Good luck! Guest guest
Kim: Okay, I thought it was kind of odd as well that the Rheumy didn't order an Xray. Especially after he said that my GP should have had one done when I first went in with Neck pain over a month ago. So if he thought the GP should have done one, why didn't HE? Good Question. I was so upset though about my lab results saying " NEGATIVE " after a month of being told they were Hight Elevated that I didn't ask all the questions I should have asked. I had my list all printed out, but they were all in reference to RA. So your opinion guys, is it okay for me to wait 6 wks for the xrays? Or not even have them at all? I mean, if the pain goes away with NSAID, do I NEED to have an Xray? I know you're not Dr's just asking for your 2 cents. Thanks Guys Bobbi > > You went to the doc and was diagnoised with osteo and he or she didn't > do an x-ray on your neck? What's up with that?
