Lori,

It's my understanding that the statue of limitations begins when you

became aware of the problem not when the

problem occurred, so the statue may not have run out. May be worth a

phone call to an attorney if you feel

you have a case. I've also read about replacements that can be done

even if the ankle is already fused, so

hopefully you may have that option in the future. I'll be needing 2

new ankles to match my bionic knees.
