You don't want to kill yourself doing this every day, so it's nice to have the 8 minute tape to break it up! If these workouts are still challenging you and you are still getting a good workout, then what you are doing is fine! When you start to feel the basic workout getting easier for you, then you can try adding the 8 minute workout at the end of the basic workout so that you get a longer workout. Or maybe try adding the floorwork from the studio advanced to the basic! These are ways you can start getting your body ready for the Advanced workout! But, I think what you are doing right now is a great routine Good luck with your 2nd semester of college! And congratulations with you 21DC so far! You're almost finished
Guest guest
Marnie, Welcome to the group! It sounds like you may be over-doing it a little bit. If you do too much too soon, you're going to burn yourself out. Maybe limit it to a Basic and the 8 minute, once a day, 4-5x a week. Remember: Less is more. I don't think you are under doing it if you are working at a pace that is good for you! If it starts to feel like it's not enough you may want to add more. You will know it when that happens! Good luck with your 21 DC!

Ann-Marie, I think she meant that she does the studio basic one day, then the next day she does the 8 minute, then the next day she does BL7. When I first read it, I thought the same thing...that she was doing studio basic, 8 minute and then BL7 all in one day, but she said she starts over with studio basic, so that made me think she was doing one workout each day! At least I hope that's what she's doing....otherwise, you're right....that's too much every day without taking a day off....LOL!
