What do you think it felt like at 35,000 feet in an airliner. ;-)) We were on our way back from Las Vegas to Sacramento and had to go through that stuff. And some stupid idiots even thought the " Fasten Seat Belts " sign didn't apply to them, they were more concerned about their bladder control than getting flung arount the inside of the cabin. It was one of the few times I wa wishing something would happen just so I could go to court and testify to their sheer stupidity and failure to follow the instructions of a flight crew member. We have that almost every evening in the summer, here. We went to the cheapy drive in (4 people, 2 movies 5 dollars...LOL) It flashed a little lightning most of the evening. had a good storm Sat. with cloud to ground strikes....and I was out trying to find a book for 's history class. Remember the song " I love a rainy night " ? That is one of my favorite songs! I love the electricity in the air. AND the smell of rain in the air. I'd really miss these things if I ever moved. Guest guest
In general, Jerry, I agree with you... However, I do remember specifically failing to obey a flight attendant once about the seat belt requirement... because I was having an intense DS moment. I am sure people thought I just couldn't hold my bladder a little longer... but the terrifying smell that would have ensued would have quickly become apparent if I had not braved the seatbelt light Elle Re: Re: last nite Marta, At least you were safely on the ground.
