Guest guest
-OOHHHH....it makes me shudder to think of how painful that had to have been. I've heard MANY people say " oh it's not that bad " ..HUH! No Way could having a long needle jammed into an organ and part of it sucked out NOT HURT LIKE H**L!!!! Are you still having a lot of pain where it was done? I hope to never have to have a biopsy but if so will HAVE to be UNCONCIOUS for it!...Best Wishes, Debbie-- In Hepatitis_C_Central , Neal wrote: > > hey guys, > if they don't sedate me next time, there wont be a next time. > that was a nightmare, that i don't want to be awake for again. > thanks, > sarah > > > > > ________________________________ >
Guest guest
there is NO REASON WHATSOEVER for ANYONE to have this done without sedation,, thats INHUMANE! I would have refused to allow ANYONE to do that to me... my doc with all his faults whom I fired half way through my treatment at least did my biopsy with conscious sedation and allowed my husband to be present in the room with me when I had it done.. now of course after I had the first injection that made me woozy, I dont remember anything else until I came back to consciousness , was laying on my right side and my hubby was still there with me.. HE, my husband said all I said when they did the puncture was "ouch" softly,, I do not remember ANYTHING ,, and thats the way it SHOULD be done,, YOU GUYS NEED to be able to DEMAND this kind of biopsy, there is NO REASON to endure this without out,, so all you new folks, take this to heart and demand from your doc the same sedation that THEY WOULD DEMAND for themselves or anyone in their families,, jax>> hey guys,> if they don't sedate me next time, there wont be a next time.> that was a nightmare, that i don't want to be awake for again.> thanks,> sarah> > > > > ____________ _________ _________ __>

When they hit me with that gun I thought I was gonna die. The nurse did have a shot of demerol for me right after that though. I could hardly breathe once it hit my shoulders. The demerol really only helped so much. Cyndi
Guest guest
Cindi, Im so very sorry you had to endure that,, I would have surely let them know that I wasnt happy about that,, I've been known to kick a doc in the crotch when getting something done in my mouth that was painful and I had warned them about not doing what they were doing! lol> > > there is NO REASON WHATSOEVER for ANYONE to have this done without > sedation,, thats INHUMANE!
