Guest guest
well sarah, it is ALWAYS worth it to know what stage your liver is at.. I would certainly talk with the doc about NOT doing it without sedation again, tell him that THAT was inhumane, especially since YOU KNOW that it can be done with conscious sedation and ask him WHY HE DIDNT do that this time... get on his case.... please let us know what you find out hon,, we're all hoping for only a little damage or no damage,, that'd be great! hugs, jax Subject: Re: Re: Just a updateTo: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Saturday, January 10, 2009, 2:19 PM hey it is sarah, it hurts to move certain ways, ribs hurt. was it worth it, i will find out the 20th. good luck to you all sarah From: Neal <sarahneal65@ yahoo.com>To: Hepatitis_C_ Central@yahoogro ups.comSent: Thursday, January 8, 2009 8:09:27 PMSubject: Re: [Hepatitis_C_ Central] Re: Just a update hey it is sarah, i'm having my biopsy tomorow. nerves if course. i will let you all know how it went tomorow. pray we will have good results sarah From: bulldoggergal <bulldoggergal@ yahoo.com>To: Hepatitis_C_ Central@yahoogro ups.comSent: Thursday, January 8, 2009 4:32:47 PMSubject: [Hepatitis_C_ Central] Re: Just a update I'm sure she may know but I was ASSuming that was what they used. Whenever I had to have my subclavian ports put in for my plasmapherisis treatments, that is what they used (the last two times) andit was heaven!! The docs also used it when I would have the facet injections.. .that ishow I found out about it to begin with. No hangover. No drugged feeling. No nausea or vomiting when you wakeup...it's short acting but absolutely heaven for doing a biopsy!Who knows,by now they could have more drugs like this one...I'mgetting old ya know (lol)> >> > Had sedation with this biopsy. Guest guest
Sedation may have something to do with insurance. Our insurance does not think sedation is needed with a colonoscopy! I had to have four of them this past year and fortunate that our hospital and Dr disagree so they have worked out a deal with the anethesiology group to do it. We just pay them the day of the procedure and sleep through it all. I have no clue what the insurance co is thinking but no ones touchin' me when I'm awake.Amber Sent via BlackBerry by AT&TFrom: Jackie on Date: Sat, 10 Jan 2009 15:09:05 -0800 (PST)To: <Hepatitis_C_Central >Subject: Re: Re: Just a update well sarah, it is ALWAYS worth it to know what stage your liver is at.. Guest guest
good amber,, there is NO REASON whatsoever to have to endure any of these proceedures without anesthesia,, I had a girlfriend when I was growning up in Ariz who got pregnant and her parents drove her to New Mexico for her abortion as it wasnt legal in ariz yet and for her punishment , she endured the procedure without any anesthesia,,, her parents wanted her to remember how bad she'd been (in their eyes) and to never forget it ,,, she never did and it really harmed her relationship with her parents,, I think they were just mean,,, From: Neal <sarahneal65@ yahoo.com>Subject: Re: [Hepatitis_C_ Central] Re: Just a updateTo: Hepatitis_C_ Central@yahoogro ups.comDate: Saturday, January 10, 2009, 2:19 PM hey it is sarah, it hurts to move certain ways, ribs hurt. was it worth it, i will find out the 20th. good luck to you all sarah From: Neal <sarahneal65@ yahoo.com>To: Hepatitis_C_ Central@yahoogro ups.comSent: Thursday, January 8, 2009 8:09:27 PMSubject: Re: [Hepatitis_C_ Central] Re: Just a update hey it is sarah, i'm having my biopsy tomorow. nerves if course. i will let you all know how it went tomorow. pray we will have good results sarah From: bulldoggergal <bulldoggergal@ yahoo.com>To: Hepatitis_C_ Central@yahoogro ups.comSent: Thursday, January 8, 2009 4:32:47 PMSubject: [Hepatitis_C_ Central] Re: Just a update I'm sure she may know but I was ASSuming that was what they used. Guest guest
, I hurt for several days now. Nothing I couldn't live with. Just a minor irritation. I go back to work today. We will see how things go.
