Guest guest
What does all this mean for me and my son? My story is that I was raped as a child and have grown up with having to take valtex and was told it was all fine for my child unless I had an outbreak at delivery and that could cause blindness and that was all. I took valtrex while pregnant and had a vaginal birth with 3 of my children including my son who has Aspergers, my last child I decided to have a c-section just to be safe. I also nursed all of my children while taking valtrex and having herpes........does any of this have to do with the problems my son has now? and will my other children show signs possibly. My oldest, 2 years above my AS child, has shown no problems with anything....as a child my oldest was obsessed with lining things up in long rows and washing his hands and was aggressive in preschool, but we worked with him and he is doing great. Any ideas on what I can do now in testing my children/asessment, anything, thank you, Tia How do start putting your child on these valtrex and other biomeds? My pediatrician knows nothing! Should I start with the diet and removing things? Can this be done on a low income budget, we are recieving food stamps now, which limits where and what we can buy. natasa778 wrote: >> 1.)I would like to know if the herpes virus crosses the placenta or > even if you are on Valtrex while prego is there still a chance the > child got exposed during delivery. Guest guest
I have been sitting here reading all the e-mails. Thank you for all the information you give us every day. It is so appreciated. I have some questions. I have developed alot of veins in my legs. that in itself is scary. Today I looked down and I had one on each side develop blood pockets. Is that serious? What about the veins, has anyone had them. The biggest challenge I have is not sleeping well. If I don't take anything I am up off and on all night. If I do take something (they gave me ambien) it works but I could sleep 6 hours the next day and I work every day so i cant feel so tired during the day. I am on my 9th shot. I have bleeding of the gums and nose although not manageable. I hate to be gross but I have very gray stool and I bleed there to Any feedback is appreciated. Guest guest
, One of the worst symptoms I had was insomnia. Take the Ambien, it helps. Being tired and without energy is also a common symptom of this treatment, sad to say. I don't know of any "cure" for that, just rest whenever you can and muddle through, keeping in mind that the war against your dragon is waging on and that it will end. Guest guest
linda, did I misread your email or do you have trouble stopping the bleeding of your gums and nose? If you are continuing to have bleeding issues, you really do need to see your doc. The bleeding in your stool may be from hemmorrhoids but that still needs to be checked out.. the grayish stool is from hep c.. I guess it has something to do with the virus and once you treat and kill off this virus, it 'should' return to a more normal brown color. Please ask your doc about these issues, they could really be serious..might not be too but please ask him! hugs jax Subject: questionsTo: "hep c" <Hepatitis_C_Central >Date: Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 11:29 AM I have been sitting here reading all the e-mails. Guest guest
What I do when I can't sleep is believe it or not, is drink a cup of warmed milk with a dash of cinnamon for flavor. Yeah it is a old fashion sleep cure. But it works for me. And it doesn't leave me feeling all drugged out the next day. Actually is kind of a treat in our house. I started my daughter on taking it before bed when she was little. Now it is a nightly thing for us. We have our warm milk together, talk and just snuggle on the couch together for a little while. She misses her warm milk when she goes to spent the night with friends.
