I'm not laughing...it sounds like another good reason to come to

California to get healthy...we have Jack in the Boxes and plenty of

good old greasy tacos!

,

I am sending you a couple tacos by pony express. It is an old pony. It may

take a month or so, especially since there is only one and he will need a

rest now and again. Maybe for Christmas then? I'll send enough for the whole

family, in that case........

in WA (where Jack in the Box is still around)

lee,

Maybe you were getting enough iron from the hamburger that it helped

you? Of course, we are ignoring the period thing here, but maybe

they really helped.

I guess you could try, ulp!, making your own tacos, lol. Maybe tacos

are your lee chow, the way tuna sandwiches are *my* chow.

Hey have you ever thought about keeping track of what you eat

everyday for a couple weeks to get a handle on exactly how much iron

you are getting " in " ? I know you posted this as a joke... but

seriously... maybe the extra protien in your taco snacks really were

helping your iron levels....

Okay cindee lee

I have been listening to you rave about Jack tacos for months... So

today I decided to lose my Jack in the Box virginity and try them...

All I can say is UGH. Absolutely disgusting! I couldnt even find meat

in it (although my husband said there was some!)..they looked and

tasted gross.

Will I EVER fit into Texas?!

Kristy,

I think you have to be a fat addict to like Jack tacos! If you are

really wanting to try to " fit in " try another restaurant - some are

better than others!

Kristy:

Let me assure you that liking anything from Taco Bell is NOT a requirement for

Texas citizenship. In fact the more schooled you are on " real " Mexican food the

less you may be able to put up with them. All foods are subjects to the tastes

of the eaters and while some absolutely love Taco Jacks others (like me and you)

dislike them. Realize that Taco Bell is owned by Purina which also makes dog

food. I feel they may have gotten some recipes mixed up. I have lived in Texas

for nearly 65 years and while I LOVE good Mexican food, I do NOT like anything

from Taco Bell. So don't feel lonely. And as to needing to be a fat addict, I

am definitely one but that doesn't help.

Regards.
