I'm thinking that I've already pushing my limits at home with a 900 sq. ft. house, 3 dogs (50-75 lbs. indoor when I'm home, outdoor when I'm not), 2 inside cats, a stairstepper in the hallway closet...I do my taebo in the family room...where we've moved the coffee table to one side. I think he's gonna kill me if I have one more thing to put in there <G> Colleen www.geocities.com/colleenp99/index.html _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

Guest guest
, of course I appreciate your answer as well. Thank you for taking the time to explain. I believe I understand what you are describing. I have recently started formal Martial Arts training and the concept of defending myself and/or beating an assailant into submission should I be attacked is one that is taught and spoken of often. We often use focus mitts, airshields for attack drills and heavy bags. So I think I " get " the concept and I can hardly wait for the new tapes. Sometimes I line >my body up right with the bag and punch left hand to right side of bag (not >hitting bag) and vice versa to make sure my punches are going across my >body. > Thanks! It sounds like I can adjust and I still have hope that one day I will be 100% again...as I am slowly getting better. So...what bag do I put on my Christmas list...or birthday list..my birthday is the day after the release so I hope you guys have time for some reviews after you get the tapes <G>. I've already finagled a way to convert one of the already full spare bedrooms into a Taebo room with some creative maneuvering and we are moving within the year (but hopefully sooner!) and I already have " dibs " on a workout room <G> big enough for Taebo. Do all the bags work for impact? Do you guys have a particular bag you prefer? And this is a really dumb question, but do you wear gloves? Thanks for answering all the questions...I think I'm definitely addicted now! Colleen, who has dreams again that her hands will be normal one day and something to look forward to. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
Guest guest
Colleen, what just said. I was just at Oshman's here in Michigan and they have all the freestanding bags you would care to choose from. They have several of the official Taebo bags. They even have the cone-shaped taebo freestanding bag. They have Wavemasters in all colors. Great selection. You could even try their website www.Oshmans.com. They sometimes offer free shipping. I think they might be at this time. Good luck finding the bag you want. Oh, I found my Wavemaster at Sears on Clearance. You might check there too. Guest guest
Hi, I am in Raleigh area....Fuquay-Varina, NC (about 15 min south of Raleigh/Garner. We used to live in Raleigh and just moved to FV in October and although I miss being "in" Raleigh some days, I do LOVE FV. Nice to meet you! Welcome to the group!!! Impact is basically Tae-Bo with a standing bag. You punch and kick the bag, work on technique, etc. It is a lot more intense that Tae-bo. I love it. Guest guest
I have the same question. It sounds like a great workout and I would love to get the tape, but a standing bag just isn't in the budget right now. Bev who might just have to ask for a standing bag for my B-day in June. >I have the tae bo impact tape, but no standing bag to use. Guest guest
I have no room for a bag, too big and heavy to move around. I told my hubby in the meantime to stand still in the living room and I'll use him as the bag! LOL! Ann Marie - who wishes she had room for a bag > I have the same question. The low profile bag weighs 170. I have the one with the very wide base, so I am assuming that I have the full sized one? It is not very easy to move around. You have to learn how to tip it just right and keep it balanced while rolling it to where ever you want it to be. If you get one, I would store it where you plan to use it. They are too heavy to be pulling in and out of different rooms. They are awesome though!!
