Guest guest
I just finished 23 minutes of the Live Basic. It was my first time doing it and I am happy with what I accomplished. I have been busy studying for my PTS certification and my workouts have been pushed aside. I am going to have to find a balance between studying and working out. I would like to be in better form by the time I take my course. I have found out that half the course is being held at a hotel and the other at a gym just down the road so there will be some practical work too. Maybe if I look at it as studying for the practical part I will get more workouts in. I am hoping to do one day of strength training with the total gym, one day of yoga and one day of taebo and repeat it once a week taking one day off or throwing in an extra yoga on the days that I get adjusted at the Chiropractors. I have been having a hard time keeping my positive outlook over the last few days and after working out this after noon I feel a lot better. I think I have found out what was missing. Last week I was in the lunch room with a couple of ladies and we were talking about one of the Jerks in the office. I said that one of these days I was going to roundhouse kick him in the head if he didn't watch it. One of the ladies asked what a roundhouse kick was so I stood up and showed her. If the jerk had been standing right there I would have gotten him in the head! I was the best roundhouse I have ever done and I was wearing jeans and hiking boots. Go Figure! Time to go study! I think I'll go colour in the muscle chart. A friend at work lent me one of her note books from when she took a highschool course on the human body and she had coloured in all the skeletal and musclar charts, by underlining the name of the bone or muscle in pencil crayon and then colouring the bone or muscle in the same colour. I thought it was a great idea because I always get confused when they just have a line pointing to the coressponding body part. I hope everyone had a great weekend, especially those of you who had thursday and friday off! Pat who thanks for working out with me today and noticed that Trevor is in the ads at the beginning of the tape! -- Even though circumstances may cause interruptions and delays, never lose sight of your goal. Instead, prepare yourself in every way you can by increasing your knowledge and adding to your experience, so that you can make the most of opportunity when it occurs.
