It certainly is a tedious workout in parts. I finished AL5, too, today. I'm still not back to normal after the flu (I've decided I had the flu since it lasted so long), but I did it, plus BL2. It wasn't pretty. I'm proud of myself most though for the decisions I made last week not to exercise and stay home from work with the flu and my decision last night to skip my favorite cardio kickboxing class because of my lingering cold. That takes real discipline for me to say no to exercise. Elena

Guest guest
Well, I made it through the Wednesday challenge, but just barely. I'm still recovering from my cold/flu and some days it seems I have no energy and others days I seem ok. Last night I just kind of went through the moves, and didn't feel like I got a great workout...but at least I did get a work out in. Hopefully, I'll be 100% soon! Guest guest
That would make sense, because he does often " jump " in there on the Advanced ones and does a pretty good warmup on the Basics. The cool downs could be a bit longer. Sandie, Tae and Bo who has no sense, but does do stretching on her own to stay flexible and limber !!!! --- Patty wrote: Her theory, is > that probably feels that since we were doing > an advanced tape, > that we had sense enough and the knowledge to > stretch before and > after. > She may have a point. > > Patty > who is glad that 's kids had an angel watching > over them > > __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Most definately. In the past, it would be easy for me to come up with excuses not to and not think twice about it. Now, I'm so addicted, that I make sure that I get at least 3 days in, I aim to get at least my 4-5 in, depending on my schedule each week. Sandie, Tae and Bo who in a few months will be celebrating her 2 year Tae-Bo-Versary !!! --- Etcarroll2@... wrote: That takes real > discipline for me to say no to > exercise. > > Elena > __________________________________________________

I am still not feeling good enough to exercise but hoping to attempt abs and glutes tomorrow, al5 is out of the question for this week. I am keeping my fingers crossed I can do abs and glutes, it won't be pretty but I want to keep the challenge going if at all possible. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Love ya, Phyllis

Maybe try breaking the abs and glutes tape into two separate workouts? It will still count as meeting the challenge. And, by breaking it into two, you might not get so worn out. That was my biggest problem (exhaustion and not being able to breathe of course) the last two weeks. Actually the floor work was a godsend because it didn't require the hard breathing of a cardio tape. I also dressed really warm for the workout (tights and longer shirt instead of shorts and a tank top) and exercised upstairs where it was warm instead of the basement. Also plan on taking lots of breaks for water and kleenex (if you need it). Good luck! I hope you feel better soon. Elena
Guest guest
Hi, I wanted to thank everyone for the get well wishes. I am feeling better, still not myself but doing much better day to day. I was able to complete abs and glutes yesterday.....felt good to stay in the challenge. I paused the tape twice to walk around the room and stretch but all in all didn't do too bad. I took Elena's tips and stayed upstairs for the workout and kept warm. Not sure what I'll do today, I may try a basic even if I do it from the chair...just feels good to be up and moving around again. Now I am thinking Weds is only a couple days away...... Hugs, Phyllis
