Guest guest
This is what I use, for a slightly different reason with detox programs, but it actually answers both of your needs. Please realize that shoving unnatural Minerals into children is a very bad idea. The body will regulate as it sees fit anyway. Bacteria and fungi work with the minerals to create the environment of the mouth that generates decay. Lots of Strep throat indicates that state. Once the decay has begun in earnest, it won't stop in baby teeth, but the permanent teeth will come in as you desire. --Terry Coconut Milk Kefir 6 cans or more Coconut Milk 6 cans or more Filtered Water Kefir Grains (ratio same as for milk) Ferment time (same as for milk.... (...8 hrs minimum) Vanilla and Cinnamon/Cardamom/Nutmeg to taste. Maple syrup and Almond extract make it real yummy too. I like them all together. Xylitol as much as you can stand.... (no substitute, and must be from trees, not corn) 1/8 c Cocoa Powder (optional) pint Colostrum (add after kefir is made) ----- Original Message ----- From: karinasmama We can probably get ahold of some cow colostrom from pastured cows. Just wondering other people's experiences with this, and health reasons for doing it.I would like to consider giving some to my 2 and 4.5 yr old to help keep them healthy. My two year old has spots of enamel deficiency, and some decay that I am trying to remineralize as well.Would love any thoughts on either health benefits of colostrum or remineralizing baby teeth. We currently are TRYING to stick to a Nourishing Traditions diet, and I give him cod liver oil and high vitamin butter as a supplement, along with a greens supplement. Thanks,Cassandra
Guest guest
Thanks for the recipe. It looks awesome! What if I just give him straight colostrum? I am assuming he would probably like it as he loves raw milk and still nurses at two. We make raw milk kefir and have it in a smoothie every night. We have gotten HealOzone done on his teeth, after much research, which is an ozone generated unit that they place over the tooth for 40 seconds and it kills decay causing bacteria, giving a window of opportunity to remineralize the tooth structure to prevent future decay, so we are hopeful that the decay will arrest with his baby teeth. We have chosen to not go the drill and fill method. Since the permanent teeth form between 1 and 3 yrs, we feel confident this problem is temporary. The narrowing of his jaw is another issue, however, and his bottom teeth are already crooked. Hoping a nourishing diet will help widen his jaw to give a wide arch for those permanent teeth. Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks for your thoughts, would love to hear more.
