from ken...I am so bummed out at the news from my visit to the V.A.

Greetings...I am so bummed out. I went tp the vet (What I call the V.A.), and

had my eye appt. I have been waiting onthem to start the things they have to do,

so I can have my cataracts removed. Ha! Well, it turns out, that on my LAST

visit, they " forgot " to tell me that they found out I had GLAUCOMA!!. They ALSO

forgot to order eyedrops for me, so I don't go blind!. Oh , what fun! Tammy was

furious, and I just felt really bummed out. Now, it seems that not only do I

have severe R.A., bad enough that I give myself three injections a week, plus

scads of pills, AND cataracts, now I have glaucoma! They told me that before

they can even start to take my cataracts out, first they have to lower the

pressure in my eyes! Bummer!

Now, I know that lots of you have problems that far outweigh mine in severity,

put it still kind of slays me that they could just " forget " . makes me wonder

what else they have forgotten! I can't go anywhere BUT the vets, 'cause I have

no insurance, no savings, and no Dr. to go to other than them! Bummer! Anyone

else ever run into this kind of situation? I know so little of glaucoma...all I

know is there is no cure and you go blind. Any info on this would be greatly

appreciated! Thank you for listening to my petty problems!
