Guest guest
Sandie, It wasn't me, I promise! I can't even get the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training program to return my calls! Their program sounds great, and I am trying to find out if I can take advantage of it for the marathon we are running next year. If not, I'll hold out for the training program for the Honolulu marathon that and have also agreed to run in....DID I JUST BLATANTLY LIE?? LOL Susi who is going to take this one marathon at a time > OK....whose giving my name away?!?!?!?! Suspiciously a > few weeks after Susi, and announce > they're in training for a Marathon, I get a flyer for > a Marathon for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Sandie, Team in Training is doing the Honolulu run this year. I'm hoping they will do it next year too, but I'm not sure I will be in Minnesota then. We'll have to see what's up wherever I end up in school. Susi
Guest guest
It's funny - with all this talk of marathons and then my hubby comes home and says someone at his work was accepted to be in the Boston Marathon. Here the guy used to be 260 pounds and now weighs 160 and works out by doing triathalons - running 15 miles, biking 15 miles and I can't think of the third thing that he does for 15 miles all in North Dakota weather. Anyone that even thinks about doing a marathon is a hero in my eyes!!!! Because if you have those thoughts - you have it in you to DO it!!! Gymmie, I hope you have a chance some day. , Susi, and - I wish you the best of luck on your journey. You all are amazing! le
Guest guest
yet who woulda thunk that I'd find a workout program that I not only really LOVE, but have met a lot of great people through. You said it Sandie! If you would have told me three years ago that I would be in the shape I am now, that I would be *looking forward* to exercising, and that I would travel to LA just to workout, I would have thought you were crazy. But that's exactly what has happened! I am so thankful to have found Tae bo, and all of my friends here. who really didn't want to workout yesterday, but did anyway, and felt AWESOME afterwards. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Reach your full potential! Guest guest
I remember the first infomercial (OK, so it's on tape, so that helps) where Sinbad was saying that " people are afraid to go on vacation because they'll miss doing Tae-Bo " --which of course is easier w/the tapes now, you can travel with 'em. It's hard to explain to the " outsiders " why you would travel so far to workout. It's so much more than a " workout " , it's really a way of life. My friend had this shirt that said " It's a UCLA thing, you wouldn't understand " ....I guess we could use " It's a Tae-Bo thing, you wouldn't understand " . Sandie, Tae and Bo who is glad to have met !!!!! -- cookcut@... wrote: > You said it Sandie!
