Guest guest
Judi, What is the Rest Warmer pad you mentioned? Sounds like something good. :-) Thanks- Prakasha On Nov 13, 2005, at 9:05 AM, nonny46 wrote: > Hi girl, > > Sending you gentle, one-armed hugs and prayers! I haven't been > posting > much either, and wondered how you were doing. I think we need to rent > a nice resort for the bunch of us, and just be pampered for about a > week. > > Our weather is changing...again...and where it was 70 yesterday, it's > going down into the 30's for HIGHS in a few days. We had rain last > night, and I woke up freezing. Thank goodness for our Rest Warmer > pad! > > Still fighting the infection in my shoulder but I think it's getting > better. > > Take care, > Judi > > > > > >
Guest guest
Prakasha, It's an electric mattress pad--goes on over the mattress, under the bottom sheet. We have dual controls as I turn mine up high and Ron keeps his low, but it's like a bed-sized heating pad. It's warmer toward the feet. Unlike electric blankets that you are not supposed to sleep on top of, nor have pets on them, this one can be slept on and I love it! I turn it on just before bed, so that I can get into a nice warm bed. I think they are about $80 for a queen-size, and I got mine at Target. Guest guest
We have one also, a heated matress pad is excellent! I don't keep mine on much b/c I'm usually warm, but have my bouts of freezing so I crank it. I'm usually good if hubby has his on and he keeps his side pretty warm. On winter nights or if you're feeling cold, it is pure heaven. barb k. nonny46 <nonny46@...> wrote: Prakasha, It's an electric mattress pad--goes on over the mattress, under the bottom sheet.
