Self-Intro of - ton, SC

My name is Fitzhenry, e-mail lesliefitzhenry@...

I live in ton County, SC

Hi everyone! Thank you for accepting me into the forum. I'm sorry I didn't get this out earlier - I've been on vacation, including e-mail vacation! Well, I'm back now, so here's my intro letter:

We have been purchasing raw milk from a farmer through a local health food store for several months.

I've made yogurt several times, including a batch I finished today. I made kefir, but didn't like it. I attempted cream cheese, but it didn't turn out very well. I was confused about milk, because it was generally known to be healthy, but I kept also hearing things about how bad it was for you. Now I know how significant the difference between raw and pastuerized milk is. I found out about purchasing raw milk through my aunt, who told be about Dr. Mercola's site, and then I was led through that to a link to realmilk.com, where I found a health food store that I was familiar with near here that sold raw milk. Someone in my family also went to the health food store to pick up something else, and saw a sign advertising raw milk. We really enjoy drinking it.

Evidently, raw milk is available from at least one farm in SC - the farm we purchase it from - and there are probably others.

I hope this covers the information that you were looking for.

Thank you,
