Have you been told you could use a steroid cream? Not sure if it is similar

or not but I have a skin disease called lichen sclerosis and it causes

severe tears as the healthy skin is mistakenly replaced with scar tissue

(autoimmune response). Anyway it is in remission right now after using a

combination of strong prescription steroid cream mixed with estrogen cream

to help the skin regenerate itself. Just a thought, sorry if I'm off base.

I wouldn't use a steroid cream for thin skin since it actually weakens

the skin. It can cause stretch marks if used often and in high

strengths.
