I am a new member to this board. I have had symptoms of

osteoarthritis for many years and from time to time have been tested

for RA. The first time was when I was maybe 23 . . . had incredible

pain in the balls of both feet. RA test was negative and the pain

went away. Have variously had pain in shoulder, both elbows, wrists,

fingers.

I have carpal tunnel in the left wrist, the starts of a finger

deformity on the right hand, left finger that swelled up like a

little sausage a few months ago (now gone). RA test continues to be

negative but the SED rate is elevated and the antibody testing was

abnormal as well, so I have an appt. with a Rheumatologist in

February for the first time.

I have experienced fatigue for a long while now. I work part time

and am able to keep up with work and home obligations on that

schedule now, but I don't think I could ever go back to work full

time . . . I would spend every off minute and hour sleeping and

resting! Never connected that to any physical problem, thought it

was just laziness or getting older. Now I am wondering if it is

related . . .
