Sorry that I'm jumping into this thread so late, but I do my butter from

cream straight out of the fridge. It goes into the blender, whips

up into whipped cream, but I have to either add some milk to it to break

the cream or just keep bumping and rocking it to get the air bubble out

from around the blades. It probably takes about 10 minutes for

me. If anything, the heat from the blender helps heat it up from

the fridge.

butter. I skim some of the cream off my milk when it comes to the

surface, and then when I get about 3 cups of cream, I put in on the

counter for about 6-10 hrs. to let it warm up, then I throw it in the

blender and voila...butter!!

But this time, voila!! No butter!

Not sure what I did differently.
