Hi guys,Just got off the phone with and she says she feels that they have 'turned the corner'... Yesterday she took the day off and took care of herself which I highly applauded.. Yesterday Ricks sodium dropped to 125 from 130 but today is back up to 128. BUT.. His MENTATION is back to baseline!!! Thank God! She says he is back to himself mentally and they've been having good conversations. Now she is working on getting them to administer physical therapy to Rick as he's only had 2 physical therapy appointments in 15 days and he is as weak as a kitten.. so he needs to build up his muscles and stamina too.. Of course HE WANTS to go home now, but everyone is in agreement that he must be able to stand and walk with his walker before they can go home because has a bad back and she cannot lift him should he fall and she cannot carry him to and from the bathroom etc.. But he is

much better today, his sodium is better, his mentation is good but he is very weak.. once again asked me to tell you all thank you so much for all the prayers and good thoughts as she knows it has helped... and I thank you all too.. This IS the BEST support group there is and it IS because of all of you that this is so!I'll check in tomorrow if I hear more news and Ill be back after dinner to answer posts,, but right now, I gotta go and fix dinner so that can eat before she heads to her class.. love to you alljax__________________________________________________

yea,, I know,, HE WANTS to go home now, but melissa said he has to get to where he can walk on his own because she cannot lift him by herself and it they both fell at the same time, they'd be in troubleJackie

I have lived here for 7 yrs and not a problem yet , I drink water my hubby has a beer and we spend some nickles . It is down time for us , a destresser but not something that would be addictive for us . My husband is in the gaming business .
