Oh , I hope your girls are fine, but that was one funny post. I could

just imagine the " gas " problem surfacing. I know every once in awhile in a store

it catches me, and I move very quickly to another aisle. LOL

Saturday evening my girls had a pre-Easter road accident and we had

to quickly take them to the ER to be x-rayed and stitched. We left

the house quickly around 6:00 - dinner was cooked and ready to eat

but we hadn't called them in to eat yet. I had missed my 3:30 snack

because I wasn't hungry cause I had been eating Easter candy. I had a

late breakfast at a church egg hunt. ANyway, it gets to be about

10:30 pm and they are finally finishing stitching, xraying and

cleaning road burn asphalt from faces and knees when I began to feel

really hot and clammy - the pediatric doc started saying loudly " she

is going down - get the baby off the gurney " - they wisked Emma off

the table, sent an EMT to find Mitch and Hannah, put me on the table

(a peds table -so I was a bit tall for it), pumping my feet up higher

than my head, taking my pulse, putting BP cuff on me (amazing that a

Peds BP cuff fit me), asking me over and over if I was diabetic, sent

for juice and crackers - all the while I am DYING OF EMBARRASSMENT!!!

but unable to do anything about it!! One of my concerns was that they

were gonna charge me yet another $100 co-pay for an ER visit! Anyway,

things finally settled down, my hubby couldn't stop chuckling, I was

wanting to crawl away and my 5 year old said " at least you didn't

have really bad gas " - she has heard me say numerous times that

everytime I lay down I pass gas. We couldn't stop laughing. I was so

glad to get out of there. I don't think we will ever forget our first

Easter in Georgia. Hope yours was uneventful!!

oh Lee! When I read the first line of your post my stomach

hit the floor! I was so worried about your girls! Sounds like it

wasn't too serious, though. Thank God! Then I read the rest of the

story and was laughing my head off! You are a treasure, my friend!

And I am also glad you didn't have gas when they laid you down! LOL!

Big hugs while giggling hysterically,

Tracey
