BK 4040A function generator output voltage compatible?

Hi,

I just want to thank everybody for all they wonderful help. I just

have 4 more questions... (I promise);

1. It says somewhere on the following webpage that you're supposed to

use 5 volt frequency input to the " poor man's rife " , which is an EMEM-

type device. I am using a BK 4040A function generator. Is there some

settings on the function generator that is too powerful and can

damage the EMEM-type device? The " poor man's rife " device uses a

2N6059 transistor. How do I avoid damaging the rife unit?

Details of " poor man's rife " :

2. Also, are there settings on the BK 4040A that are too powerful and

can damage the QSC MX-2000 based " Doug Coil " machine? Do I just keep

an eye on the ampmeter and temperature to avoid damage to the Doug

machine? Anything else I need to do/watch out for?

I just don't want to damage any of this expensive equipment.

3. Also, I know that the Doug coil machine ouputs sine waves with

either sine or square wave input due to the coil's resonance. Is this

also true of the EMEM-type devices such as the " poor man's rife " ? The

Holman website listed above says that input should be square waves.

However, can I use sine waves? Also, can the unit output both square

waves & sine waves? Or will it only output one type of wave like the

Doug coil?

4. If I refund the BK 4040A and use my computer to generate

frequencies, are there computer programs that can do sweeps, pulsed

output, square waves, & sine waves? If there isn't such a program,

then I'm just going to keep the BK 4040A. The ability to make sine

waves is unnecessary if the EMEM-type devices cannot emit them.

Thank you for your help,

LM.
