I am constructing a Doug (Coil) Device and regarding the

capacitors...

1. I cannot find a 0.5 uF and 1 uF capacitor. However, I did find

some 0.15 uF 3000 VAC capacitors. My other capacitors are all 660

VAC; 1.5 uF to 30 uF. Can I hook up capacitors of different voltages

in series?

2. Can I hook up more than 3 capacitors together? I would like to

hook up 5 capacitors together.

3. One of the cancer frequencies is 11,780,000 Hz or 11.78 mHz.

However, the Doug device construction suggests using a BK Prescision

4011A frequency generator that only generates 5 mHz max. Is there a

computer program out there that can generate 11.78 mHz in both

square wave & sine wave continuous waveform with a separate carrier

wave and signal wave? There are some shareware programs on the

following webpage, but none of them are able to generate a carrier

wave: http://www.holman.net/rife/Software/RifeGEN/rifegen.html .

There's a guy on ebay called sidal_2 with a program that can make a

carrier wave, but it also randomly pulses the signal. It doesn't

produce a continuous waveform. So, anybody has a suggestion for a

computer program that I can use?

I have an inoperable and chemotherapy resistant tumor so I would

really appreciate a reply. I am using the Budwig diet and would like

to add Rife to the regimen.

Thank you and God bless,

LM.

There is a yahoo groups forum for the Doug Device. It's called

qsc1850hd that is the best place to ask questions regarding the doug

device. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/qsc1850hd/

There are .5 and 1uf caps available from allied electronics. In the

files section of qsc1850hd group there are documents with the part #'s

as well as some information on building.

You can hook a bunch of capacitors together. That's fine. Whatever

gets you to the capacitance you need.

Even if you find a frequency generator to that goes to 11.7mhz, the

amplifiers that are used for the doug device are designed to amplify

audio frequencies- usually only from 30 to 30,000 hertz or so. I'm not

sure that they would even pass that high of a frequency, or if you

could pass any useful amount of current through the coil, but I tend to

doubt it. You are probably better off with another machine for running

such a high frequency. I'm not in any position to recommend one. The

frequencies I've seen mention of for cancer with the doug device are

2127 and 2128. I haven't used those for cancer. I've never run

anything higher than 4200 on mine because of capacitor voltage rating

issues, and because I haven't needed to.

Here is a calculator that you can use to figure your capacitance,

frequency or inductance.

http://www.multbox.com/cfl.htm

Here is a formula for figuring voltage across the coil.

6.28 x frequency x amps x inductance in henries so, 6.28 x 2112 x

15 x .0082(8.2Mh) = 1631volts

watch out, that's a lot of juice!

at 2128Hz the Voltage is 1643v @ 15 amps. Most caps won't be rated

that high, but you can often push them pretty far above their rating

and just hope that they don't blow up. at 2128 I'll run my doug up to

about 9 or 10 amps which is pretty far above the rated voltage of my

caps. Capacitance for 2128 at 8.2Mh is .682uf

These devices can be very dangerous due to the high voltages. Having

bare wires, caps and leads exposed is asking for trouble. Please be

careful.
