Guest guest
Hi, Debi: First of all I had to figure out what gened is! (I'm Canadian) Was it general education? Then I googled fourth grade games, and got lots of math exercises. So then I tried thinking, even though my brain is on pause today. I brainstormed a bunch of games that had worked for us in the past, and realised half of them were from the PBS show Zoom. I headed over there, and sure enough they list the games there! Most were submitted by this age group so will be a big hit with them, even if they have played before. A personal favourite is " Excuse me, what are you doing? " It even worked with a mixed age group of varying ability levels. I get the jitters before these, too. Once you get started you're fine. Jess is getting to that age where she embarasses easily, I wanna make sure I don't do anything to make her feel bad.
