See if you all can figure out this one. At the zoo last 2 times Allie

has wanted to be on the camels constantly. So then we go to my uncle's

farm with horses, she won't even come out of the house to see them.

now the camels are in more of an enclosed area with an area to ride in

that has sides. She won't even ride the horse with me, and when she

starts crying I back off 'cause these horses aren't used to kids

crying, I'm sure not gonna push it. The camels stink to high Heaven,

the horses have no noticable odor.

Anyone got any idea?

If you do find a therapeutic place, maybe they are having a riding

hall, and she can tolerate this?

Having own horses would be a dream come true for me, too. I enjoyed

each and every occasion I was able to work with horses. The best was a

24 hour thing in Monument Valley, riding into the valley, sleeping

under the stars, the next day after breakfast riding back out again.

They are such amazing gentle animals, And they can have their own

will, but cooperation is possible, too. It helps a lot in social

skills, too.
