Guest guest Posted November 26, 2005 Report Share Posted November 26, 2005 My name is Anita and I am a 34 yr. old SAHM of 2 human kids, 3 furbabies and 7 aquatic babies. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and RA over a year ago. It did not show up in my blood work then but did in my x-rays. A couple of weeks ago my knee swelled up and hurt so bad I could hardly walk. My RA doctor did blood work again and it is showing up in my blood work now. I have it in all my small joints and my lower back and neck. The dr. also drew some fluid and sent it out to be tested and we are awaiting the results for that. I should have that hopefully on Monday. My dr. upped my medication from 4 methotrexate a week to 6 a week now and is sending me info on Remicade injection. Anyone here on the Remicade injection? How does it work for you and could you tell me your experience with it? I hate the methotrexate. It makes me so sick to my stomach even when I eat something.
