Woman serves six months in prison for sex with teen

Louise Hester, 34, of Nampa, was released Monday and will be on probation

for 10 years for having sex with her daughter's 16-year-old ex-boyfriend.

Hester was given a suspended sentence. Third District Judge Culet also

sentenced her to 180 days discretionary jail time, which means her probation

officer will have that option.

A no-contact order with the victim will be in effect throughout Hester's

probation. She plans to move to California, her attorney said.

The teen's mother testified earlier that the boy, who is high-functioning

autistic, was in love with Hester and furious with his mother for reporting her.

Hester was expected to be placed on probation last spring and skip prison time

altogether, but Culet changed his mind after he learned Hester had continued to

contact the teen despite a no-contact order.
