& a hearing test

My husband called me back in (while I was sending a message to my

father), and asked me to get her hearing checked also -- due to her

hearing distant planes and trains, but seeming not to hear us calling

her name or speaking to her sometimes, and in case she has an inner

ear imbalance that causes her stumbling and falling a lot and walking

" sideways " (tilted).

I went to change her Pull-Up and she ran over to him and laid down on

his stomach. He laughed and said, " I don't know, you seem very

intelligent to me! " And I said it has nothing to do with her

intelligence, she's very smart, but she has trouble communicating and

her behavior is 'odd' .... she's a bright child who seems to have a

lot of challenges.

At any rate, it's another area of screening that hopefully will give

answers, and will allow me to talk to the doctor and specialists about

my concerns, observations and her behaviors :-)

Thanks everyone, will let you know happens.
