Guest guest
I'm not sure if I ever mentioned what my career was before I became unable to work, but I was a chef. So, when it gets to times like thanksgiving when being in the kitchen is so important to me and I have to rely on everyone's help instead of handling it on my own, it makes me feel quite small. As anyone who's ever been in the restaurant business knows a chef likes no company in the kitchen, lol. Well I pulled off thanksgiving but was hurting like heck on friday and feeling so sad, because cooking is what I love to do, but then it was time to take my MTX injection, so I did that. And once again feel like I've got the flu. I hope these side effects don't last, for my sake and for the sake of my children, who have to spend the weekends watching me lie on the couch. I'd much prefer my hair falling out over this SICK feeling, I'd been considering shaving my head anyway, lol. On the bright side, we put up our christmas tree and while I was trying to water it, I found another thing I couldn't do... water the christmas tree, lol. I got stuck under there and couldn't get myself out, my daughter had to get my neighbor to come and help lift me. Question for anyone else on MTX have you noticed any increased anxiety?? my anxiety attacks and general shakiness seem to have increased, not sure if its the med or just me. Thankfully doesn't mind laying in bed and brushing my hair until I fall asleep. I thank God for sending him, my angel and I thank God for bringing me to you all. Hope you all are having good days. I live in Lake Placid, NY and it isn't unlikely for us to spend two months during the winter in sub-zero temperatures, I've already noticed my morning stiffness seems to hang on for quite awhile longer since the temps have decreased, besides the rice sock (which I keep lovingly under my pillow) are there any other suggestions you all have for combatting the temperature blues. Thank you all and God bless. kerri sue --------------------------------- DSL Something to write home about. Just $16.99/mo. or less
