Guest guest
I know we hit on this subject fairly often. I think I need a reality check. Am I nuts because I never really needed the pill? I know it can provide hormone regulation and that sort of thing. The few times I tried it I couldn't take the mood changes. I know with our girls they don't recognize social issues related to men trying anything to get them into the sack. I guess I just don't see a high need for birth control because my friends and I weren't in need. I also accept that in the end these issues (remember I have 3 girls, 2 of them NT) are their own decisions and they will have to make the choices and perhaps make them differently. I also know a lot of moms who are so obsessed with whether or not their daughters are having sex that it almost seems to drive them to do it. I know a few moms who put their daughters on the pill with the first period as if they are going to become active. I've read girls on blogs talking about having a first period so now they need to find someone to sleep with. Do what??? Am I that much out of touch with reality? What is reality?
