Guest guest
Thanks ! I'm not sure which post you are referring to, but like so many on here, circumstances have dictated that we become as knowledgeable about our situations as possible. And boy do I wish knowledge translated directly into results. But knowing everything you can about cholesterol doesn't mean that you won't have a heart attack (sorry about the analogy, just found out I have high cholesterol!). And that's why so many nights and days we wind up totally exhausted or in tears (my wife of course - men don't cry ) because we feel so helpless! One thing we've learned is to not be surprised by anything. Ok, she stopped washing her hands, hooray! It's done right? Nope, 3 months later she's taking 2 hours to find something to wear by emptying out her drawers on the floor, pulling everything out of the dryer, opening up the closet and then trying on every single thing she owns (every day), then borrows stuff from her mom or sister and complains she has nothing to wear! Then that goes away, and later starts throwing up. And there are lots of other stages between all of these. So nothing surprises us these days, but we've learned that it's only a matter of time before OCD finds a way to surface elsewhere. I know I will never look at the " whack-a-mole " game the same! Actually I've become quite violent with that game! > > Dear FD, > What a great posting and I so agree with everything you have said here. This is great and describes so many of our situations perfectly. Well done, > > > > > __________________________________________________________________ > Make your browsing faster, safer, and easier with the new Internet Explorer® 8. Optimized for Yahoo!
