Hi everyone.

Just thought I would update you, I got my MRI results and the doc's

say I have tennis elbow in both elbows. As for my left wrist there is

extra fluid in there but not enough to require treatment right now.

They plan on keeping an eye on it though. They have no explanation

regarding the other pain. They plan on having me off prednisone in 3

days and said they would give me another cortisone injection if I want.

They said i should stop babysitting as lifting the 2 year old is the

likely trigger. I am supposed to call if my pain gets worse or does

not improve. My dad is starting methotrexate for his RA in two weeks.

I hope he does ok on it. Just thought I would let you know what I

found out.

Dear Barb,

Tennis elbow is no fun, but at least it WILL go away! I can relate to

you and caring for a 2-year old. Our daughter has 3 of them, 21/2

years old, and a 5-year old. If you pick one up, you have to pick each

of them up. And with my shoulder they told me NOT to pick any of them

up. But we will be babysitting Friday most of the day and until 9 PM

or later as has to go across the state for 2 days for school.

I'll need to sleep all day Saturday!

Take care, and I hope you mend soon,

Judi
