Thanks for replying, BJ

I do think the main cause of her depression is the OCD, although there may be a

biological component to the depression, as well. She seemed to get a bit better

after a couple of weeks on Inositol, but now she's worse again... I guess she's

been taking it about a little over a month now. She's also taking Co enzyme q10,

Vitamin B2, Lipoic Acid, Paxil (about 7 mg.), Effexor (37.5mg), and a small

amount of Xanax for sleep problems.

Every day I say to myself, I just can't take this anymore, but then I do. I just

feel we've been fighting this battle so long. First with me when I was younger,

and now with my daughter for over ten years. We are both super-sensitive to

medication side effects, so it's very challenging to find a med that will help

that we can also tolerate. My daughter been in CBT for years and years but is so

depressed that she is not motivated to do the work. I know things will get

better - its just hard to wait until they do.

Thanks again,

to take it later in the day (maybe around 3pm)? I was wondering if it would

cause any sleep problems, etc. if taken in the afternoon? My daughter's doc

wants her to go up to 2,000 mg.

suicide - says she wouldn't do it but thinks she'd be better off if she did.

Says no one will ever want to be with her because she has so many problems. Says

what's the use of living?

questions and hardly ever giving any replies... it's just that I don't usually

feel I have as much good advice to offer as others.
