HI everyone,

I have been busy behind the scenes making a comprehensive schedule for

presenting the huge array of information in our new AOSD Education program. I

have had help from an assistant who shall remain nameless until such time as the

Board makes an official announcement.

In any event, here's how it works, health permitting. As the Board Researcher

on any and all topics related to Stills Disease, I have made a monthly format of

4 weeks. As the weeks progress, lots of information will be presented for

education purposes and to stir discussion. We may have polls now and again to

make official comparisons on topics like we have done in the past with phantom

fevers and pre Stills " normal " temperature.

Here is the basic format:

Week 1 of a month will discuss a particular medication related to the

treatment of Stills Disease

Week 2 will analyze a common Lab Test used for patients with Stills Disease

Week 3 will highlight a surgery common among Stills patients

Week 4 is General Topics but will feature a companion disease secondary to

Stills, a coping skill and various other topics related to Stills Disease. Where

possible we have attempted to keep a theme for each month. I hope you all enjoy

this new program.

To help ALL who come to the support group for information, I am putting EDU

for " education " at the beginning of my subject line on my emails. This will help

others like doctors and really sick folks find any of the education posts

because they can search the site for EDU to find them.

So, tonight I begin this journey with you all. I hope you find this

information beneficial for understanding and coping with your Stills Disease.

We may not be able to change the direction of the wind, but we can adjust our

sails.

May you have enough happiness to make you kind, enough trials to make you

strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.
