Well, I saw a dermatologist last Thursday for the vasculitits. He

is the most arrogant SOB. I have no confidence what so ever in

him. Anyway, he had me get a crap load of blood work done. They

took eleven tubes of blood. Not much left in me!!! LOL Anyway, I

told him that half of those he ordered I get done every other month

and the last time it was done was only a few weeks ago, when I still

had the skin ulcers. The other half won't show much if anything at

all because of the meds I'm on. I told him this and he just

said, " well, I don't know anything about that " . What?!?! I heard

that from him so many times during that appointment. I finally just

asked him " So, what exactly is it that you DO know? "

Well, I told him I was concerned that the vasculitis may be

affecting me internally as well and he said that I would have

symptoms. Well, not neccesarily!! I am having GI issues that

started at the same time and I have been having blurred vision in my

left eye. It's kind of like trying to see through a foggy

windshield. But his comment was " well I don't know anything about

that " . GGGRRR.

So, today I called and left a message with my rheumy. He called

me back and said he is going to get all my lab results as well as a

copy of the biopsy report and will let me know what I need to be

doing. This dermatologist gave me a topical steroid cream to use

but it isn't doing a damn thing. <<Sigh>>. Well, I guess I will

get off my soapbox for now. Thanks for listening......marina
