Guest guest
Thanks,.I am pleased at the opportunity to get to know you too! I remember you saying that you have severe vaginal pain. That must be horrible for you.And you're so right...the Dr.would not ignore a man(sorry guys).I have dealt with many Dr.s and psychologists and so forth through the years(especially concerning my sons mental illness)and I no longer have ANY patience for their crap.I have walked out of offices before, fired my cardiologist last month and told off my son's psychiatrist after neglegence on his part.I'm REALLY not a b**** BUT I have learned the hard way to speak up.I wasn't capable of doing it until my son got sick but I fought tooth and nail for good care for him.Something happens to you when your child is suffering and I still find the strength to 'speak up.' I hope you find a Dr.that will respect and believe what you say. HUGS,
Guest guest
Dear , It's interesting that you say that you learned to fight when your son got sick. I always say that I didn't grow claws until I had kids. My husband has a verbally abusive father and we used to be really passive and just took it until my first son was born. The first time I ever told him off it was because he was getting his dog to lick my two-week-old son's face and I asked him to stop and he started making fun of me and still was getting the dog to lick the baby, so I blew up and said, 'THIS IS MY KID AND IF I DON'T WANT A DOG IN HIS FACE THERE WON'T BE A DOG IN HIS FACE! " The room went dead silent and everyone looked at me like I had just morphed into a creature from an alien world. I've been that way ever since. I'm proud of you for demanding proper care for him. So many people just eat whatever the doctor serves them because, after all, they are the experts. When there are more people who give them the what-for maybe we will start changing things for everyone. Here's hoping!! laura " M.
