Guest guest Posted December 2, 2005 Report Share Posted December 2, 2005 Had a regular doctor's appt today with my GP, first since my meltdown at the rheumy's office... He got notes from that appt... so he was more than patient and listening this time... lucky for him, lol. The xrays of my back and neck are clean, I said I didn't doubt that since my back and neck pain feels mostly muscular... he's debating fibromyalgia with my rheumy as secondary diagnosis, I guess fibro comes along with a lot of muscle pain. I tried to explain my lack of sleep and pain levels that are way too high and for once he actually listened and changed some meds around for me... I go back and see him in about a month. Questions - (for the ladies) has anyone noticed any irregular spotting during their cycles while on MTX? and.... these are my meds. MTX - injectable baclofen celexa folic acid nortriptyline tricor topamax avandia Arava metoprolol oxycodone HCL phenergan I asked the doctor to pull my hydrocodone/APAP because of the tylenol content and was concerned about the effects on my liver while on MTX..does anyone know of any of these other meds that may cause or add onto that?? The rheumy's office seemed very concerned about saving my liver for the mtx but then didn't seem to care to much about the other meds I was on when it came to it, my GP however thought I was correct about wanting that pulled and did so. I feel so inundated with pills I think. Its overwhelming, I actually have to prepare myself when I go to take them at night and it takes a WHOLE glass of water, lol. anyway, any information would be welcomed. Thank you.
