Hi,

Try Meclizine 25 Mg at first and rachet up if need be. My 55 pound daughter

takes 100 mg a day, BUT IT IS NOT A WEIGHT RELATED DOSAGE. Some adults do

well on less than 5 mg some need more. It is what inner ear docs recommend

and it is great for Meneire's Disease. It is over-the-counter and I use the

stuff that is generic. I can get 90 pills of 12.5 mg for $5.97. My daughter

had/has this problem and it took a doctor in NY to help us figure it out. We

are in Utah.

No. The doctor was just my family doctor -- I should probably go to my ENT just for a checkup anyway. I can't even remember the last time I had a CT, I don't even think they gave me one when I was first diagnosed back in 1974 or so. Do you think it's a good idea to have one again?

Thanks,

, Is the doctor that told you that you had a virus an ENT or otologist. When was the last time you had a ct-scan? I would make sure an ear doctor takes a good look at that ear and rule out a c-toma. Better safe than sorry. Best of Luck

Dizzy

Hi everyone:I had a cold about a month ago (sinuses), was put on a Z-PAK and then just about 10 days ago started getting very dizzy. I went to the doc and she said it was viral labyrinthitis and gave me Antivert (which does not seem to work). My question is, I had my C-toma back when I was 7 and not a thing since (surgery at 18 because of infections and to widen ear canal), could this have something to do with a recurrent C-toma? Should I be worried? I have had no other symptoms besides the dizziness, but I was just wondering. Thanks,

Thanks , I might do that. It is weird that I would get that symptom after taking it, because if I had a sinus infection wouldn't the dizziness go away and not come back? I had a weird taste in my mouth and everything tasted funky when I was taking the Z-PAK. Also, my youngest daughter was taking the liquid form at the same time and she kept spitting out her food, food that she normally loved. Interesting . .. hmmmm.

Thanks,

Debby you need to watch your potassium. Drink like you normally do and

eat bananas and drink orange juice. Yams and sweet potatoes are a very good source

of potassium also.

Hope you feel better soon.

, I went to the clinic this afternoon. They thought there was

a kidney or bladder infection, but it was ok other than being very

concentrated. The doctor thought that I was just dehydrated and possibly

lost a lot of calcium…bad for the heart they said. He said that if

I have more problems tonight, that I needed to go to ER for some more tests.

The bad thing is that they have started up again. My husband had to help

take off my shoes because my feet and legs were so cramped up that I could not

walk in the shoes. I find that if I can walk in my bare feet that I can

walk off the cramps most of the time. I will see what happens tonight!

Same with me I started yesterday as well, I thought it was because I really don't like needles, but today I didn't get that feeling at all. I'm doing NHW so I don't know if it was the specific B vitamin in yesterdays shot I know one day was b-12 the next had b-100 I believedenisenicholes <nicholes4819@...> wrote: Hello, I was just wondering if any felt lightheaded and/or dizzy when they started the injections. I did my first injection this morning and immediately felt strange...I felt dizzy. It got better

throughout the day, but I was just wondering if anyone experienced this? I want this to work and I know it can, I just don't want to have that feeling again. Thanks

Thanks for asking!

I too felt a little dizzy when I did my first injection! (part

fear/relief/hunger!)

My guess, Jaisoux, is that you injected it too fast, or that the

muscle wasn't relaxed enough. You mentioned that you injected into

the glute....

To relax the right glute, stand with your right foot turned in

(pigeon-toed). This relaxes the muscle & allows easier access to what

is, esentially, your back side! (same in reverse for the LEFT side!)

To prevent a spasm, try to take at least 5 sec. to inject the

solution. Slower is better.

I also massage the area a little after the needle is out....old habit

I guess - supposed to help with absorption.

Hope this helps!

Thanks , I will check with Terri Randall.

I guess the best way to describe how I am feeling is a little light headed. I am really pushing the water, almost to the 2nd liter right now, and that seems to be helping a little.

dizzy

Im only on day three (using sublingual drops) and started feeling a bit dizzy just before lunch. Anything to be worried about? What can I do to help minimize the dizziness? I tried taking a small (1/3) dose of vitamin b12 suppliment and within 10 minutes noticed a slight ringing in my ears. any connection?
