When my rheumy asked if there was RA in my family, I said no. Then I

found out that my mother's sister had it. I knew that she had

arthritis, but she kept quiet about it and had never said that it was

RA. She also wore long sleeves all of the time to hide the huge nodules

on her elbows. Sue

LOL.

No kidding!! My Mom's side of the family is SICK, SICK, SICK! Jerks!!

LOL! MS, RA, fibro, allergies, plain old sinus issues, alcoholism,

drug addictions, mental illness...you name it, that side has it! Ugh!!

In a lot of ways, I'm lucky I got the RA/MS factor!!

Hi:

My grandmother had RA (crippled her hands and she

ended up in a wheelchair too), my grandfather had

Psoriasis (and I suspect Psoriatic RA), and my dad has

Raynaud's. Somehow he escaped the RA monster. So

immune system problems run in my family too.
