Sigourney Weaver won't appear in upcoming `Alien' and `Ghostbusters' movies

Sigourney Weaver told TVSquad.com that she doesn't expect to be part of upcoming

" Alien " and " Ghostbusters " movies.

Weaver said " I don't think that Ripley (her character) could appear in an

'Alien' prequel because she doesn't have any access to the creature until the

first 'Alien.' But Ridley () is producing it and that makes me happy. "

Hopefully 's involvement – he directed the first " Alien " movie – means

we'll get a quality movie.

Regarding " Ghostbusters, " Weaver said she doesn't " expect to have anything to do
