reading forward then backwards?

Has anyone ever heard of a child with OCD who reads everything forward and then

has to read it again backwards? Every sentence? My daughter is frustrated by

this and her doctors say it is a symptom of OCD but they don't have any advice

as to how to overcome it. Any suggestions? She was recently diagnosed (2 wks

ago) and this is leaving her totally frustrated. She has always been a great

reader but now she struggles to get through a few pages in her book. She reads

perfectly when reading out loud but that is not an option in school. Has anyone

ever dealt with this? She is 9 years old-
